We’ve talked chores here before, and President Obama is taking on the topic too. He recently shared that his daughters — Sasha, 8, and Malia, 10 — are no strangers to making their beds, walking and feeding the family dog, taking out the trash and doing homework (well, I’m not sure that’s a chore, but OK).

“We’re pretty old school,” the Pres told CBS News recently. He’s a fan of providing order and structure for kids. They thrive on it, he says. I agree. I also agree with the no-TV-during-the-week policy, which is a rule in the Obama household. If only I get that one to stick in my house.
