Theme Parks – Try to Go For Free July 6, 2009
Here in Florida, Busch Gardens has this great deal — buy one ticket, one time, and you get to come back to the park for free for the rest of the year. My family just cashed in — we paid the big bucks a few months ago, and just recently returned with our tickets for a freebie day. Well, we bought lunch, and snacks, and trinkets for our boys, but still, we saved a fortune — because you know how expensive theme park admission can be.
So, check out your local theme parks, and see if you can go for free. You should look into line-jumping options too. Disney World has the Fast Pass — totally free, just enter your ticket into a machine at the rides, and you’ll get a slip that allows you to return (usually in about one hour) and skip to the front of the line. Busch Gardens has the Quick Que, and while it costs $24.99 per person, it lets you ride all the biggie roller coasters one time without waiting, and you don’t have to come back later (like at Disney). Just show up and ride.
