I never know which movies are safe for my kids, because even the flicks meant for children sometimes feature rough language and inappropriate topics. Just found out about these three websites, though, and I hear they can help me figure out what’s OK and what’s definitely not.

• kids-in-mind.com – check out the awesome details this site offers on the new movie G-Force.
• parentpreviews.com — this site offers grades, and even though you might think it could be fun for kids, Transformers gets Cs and Ds.
• commonsensemedia.org — here, movies get “On,” “Off” or “Iffy” ratings. The new Harry Potter movie got an “On” for kids 12 and over.
