Time is a tickin’, and if you haven’t yet returned your kids to the classroom (or the homeschool room), the first day of school is probably not far off. Which means summer is just about over. Time to take stock: Was it a good one? Did you do everything you set out to accomplish? What will you do again next summer? What will you skip? Me? I wouldn’t change a thing (unless I could scrounge up some more money for more fun). My family of four made several theme park trips and a few beach trips. We saw free movies (and costly ones too) — we really liked Aliens in the Attic — and we swam, fished, and played baseball and tennis. A lot more filled our summer — these are just a few highlights. And in order to remember them all, I printed one photo from each of our activities and put the pics in our family scrapbook. The collage is called: Summer 2009 in Review.
