Wimpy Kid Movie Made Us Laugh August 5, 2012
We’ve seen all the Wimpy Kid movies, and I think I like the first two better than this third one. Still, it’s pretty entertaining, and my kids and I laughed out loud several times. We definitely recommend this flick for school-age kids who no longer fit the animated genre and are still too young for so many of the borderline-appropriate films.
My kids are huge fans of the Wimpy Kid books. I thought the first movie was very good and the second one even better. We went to see the new one the other day and while it did have some laugh out loud moments, I felt it seemed a little forced — like they were trying too hard. I still enjoyed it, but nowhere near as much as I liked the other two.
