Soliciting Stocking Stuffer Advice

Stockings seem simple enough, right? Buy a few trinkets, stash them in the big sock, and surprise the kiddos on Christmas morning. (Note: You will only stuff your own stockings, of course, if Santa falls down on his job.) But it’s not so easy, really, especially if you aim to keep a happy budget, because the gear it takes to stuff the stocking full can be costly, and, so, I’m wondering what you do to keep the price tag low and the candy to a minimum. Please share and give me some direction. Pretty please. I mean, I have some ideas, but I need more. Lots more. Thank you.

Something like Zoombak, the portable locator that can help you keep track of more than just the little ones. You can put it on your car, your pet, your luggage, whatever you have that roams and might get lost. Stork Craft Crib Recall: Monday Mention

We told you recently that there are bunches of product recalls out there, and now we’re here to warn you about some 2.1 million cribs that are being recalled.

The drop-side cribs by Stork Craft Manufacturing of Canada are being recalled following reports of four infant suffocations. The cribs are in the United States and Canada, and sales of the items date back to 1993. Also, 150,000 of the cribs carry the Fisher-Price logo.

Recall Round-Up: Wednesday Wisdom

Are you even aware of all the product recalls out there? Not me. But there are plenty, and you can track down a bunch of them at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Lately, some Maclaren strollers have been recalled, due to a hinge that has reportedly severed some kid fingertips. Ouch. Here’s the scoop. Adventure Playsets are also on the recall list, and Children’s Art Easels are, too.

Playthings for the Princess-Obsessed

My house is stocked with cars and trucks, monsters and dragons, Stars Wars action figures and Lego in all shapes, sizes and colors.
